The paper was one of several initiatives by interest groups of Jewish students, along with partnerships with AIPAC and ZOA and a group called the Hopkins Jewish League, during this period designed to incrase pro-Israel sentiment on campus. It did not have an enormous following, and during the Seventies there were concerns that it could not be continued. Yet, by 1977 there was a significant group who frequented the KDH, and it remained active until it was incorporated into the University Dining Facilities.
