Maid Marion has pierc[’d] today

Replies Saint Valentine
For the noblest Heart in England bounds
Is pierc’d by a [Vot’ry] of mine
And who is this [Vot’ry] Saint of thine
That can choose and shoot so true
For a better shot than Marion fine
Quoth Robin I never knew.
Said the Saint I may not tell her name
But I’ll venture a Hint at least
This Billet is sent to her and the same
Bids prepare for a wedding feast
