An Angel? Such the ardent Lover

In youths fond Dream can oft discover!

But he whose calm and tutor’d spirit,

Seeks mortal worth and modest merit,

Who not, with vain and selfish pride

In Heavn’s Perfection decks his Bride,

Shall find, in happy wedded Life,

Angelic Charms to grace the Wife.
