
Men Ringing Church Bells
This odd device methinks Sir, tells.
That you are fond of many bells.
But [sh] bewa[r]e while prone to dangling,
you dont create a little jangling,
Tis not light task accomplish’d soon,
To keep so many belles in tune;
The lighter ones with tinkling chime,
Will weary in a little time,
And too monotonous you’ll own,
The great belles solemn pompous tone
And though I know where all are pleasing
To make a choice is rather teasing
You must leave some Sir in the lurch
