St Valentines mysterious boon

A being of another sphere

The man we picture in the moon

From that clear [orb] when Beauty deeps

He steals a glance demure + shy

And through the [bay] closed curtains peeps

And often too, he can discover

Some secrets Ladies will not tell

For instance now your favorite Lover
