Title
Menorah Society information
Description
With many of the University's students coming from Baltimore at this time, the Menorah Society, like many other early Jewish organizations, serviced several other Baltimore campuses. This helped maintain a unified Baltimore Jewish community among different educational institutions. The society, in turn, was supported by the city's Jewish community: meetings were regularly held in synagogues near campus and in the Druid Hill Jewish community.
