Colonels McCornack and Taylor came in to get instructions for their Polish work. They go with Colonel Carey to join the Polish Inter-Allied Mission at Warsaw. Talked over the whole Polish problem.

Discussed with Major Tyler and Lem Dominian the work and personnel of the Turkish Mission which is about to start in a few days.

In morning met at Quai D’Orsay with General Le Rond and Colonel Kisch and after much detailed discussion and mutual compromise on part of all three of us we finished our detailed location of the western frontier of Poland.

Had conference with General Churchill, Director of Military Intelligence, on use of data gathered by military personnel attached to various missions.

In evening went to movies with Cora—our first evening out.
