Unveiling of World War I commemorative plaque
Newton D. Baker, Secretary of War under President Woodrow Wilson and himself a Hopkins alumnus, unveils a plaque in the Alumni Memorial Dormitory commemorating male Hopkins affiliates who died during the war. (There were also casualties among the female Hopkins nurses serving during the war.) This event took place in October 1926.
