Mary Elizabeth Garrett letters to Daniel Coit Gilman, President of the Johns Hopkins University. The Daniel Coit Gilman Collection was digitized in 2016 the collection includes an exchange between Garrett and Gilman, from 1892-1895.

Women in Medicine

Changing the Face of Medcine, The National Library of Medicine exhibit, honoring the lives and accomplishments of female doctors making a difference.

The Women's Leadership Council of Johns Hopkins Medicine serves as an "advocate for the professional development and advancement of women faculty in the School of Medicine and to educate the leadership and faculty regarding the critical issues facing women faculty."

The Johns Hopkins American Medical Women's Association "seeks to empower and advance women in medicine and to ultimately improve women's health."
