Sports Illustrated Best Centerfielder

1968, Sports Illustrated cover of Curt Flood, named baseball’s “Best Centerfielder” as a St. Louis Cardinal.  Just a year after this cover, the Cardinals sought to trade Flood to another team.  Flood challenged being traded without his consent, taking his case all the way to the Supreme Court.
