Celebrations of Poe

The Susan Jaffe Tane Collection of Edgar Allan Poe includes manuscripts and letters by Poe and people in his circle; artifacts from his life; first editions of his writing in magazines, newspapers, and books; significant later editions, translations, adaptations, and illustrations; and materials that demonstrate Poe’s broad, international popularity. The depth and breadth of this collection offers extraordinary access to Poe’s life and work in his own time—and his legacy in ours.
